San Diego Love Comes in Many Forms by AJ Harmon

About the Book

Contemporary romance author AJ Harmon is going to do it
again with her new Sky Romance Novels series. Book 1, San Diego - love comes in
many forms, is the beginning of this heartwarming and inspirational new series.

Building on the success of her First Class Novels series,
one of Amazon’s bestselling authors, AJ Harmon is going to answer the question
we all ask ourselves when waiting in the airport for a flight. “I wonder where
they’re going…and why?”

In “San Diego – love comes in many forms” we will follow
three passengers and one member of the crew as they explore, discover and
embrace love, passion, loyalty and selflessness to fulfill their desire to love
and be loved in return.

Flight attendant Jill Delaney has a surprise waiting for her
at her destination in San Diego and a life altering decision to make.

William Nestor, an esteemed New York Oncologist, flies west
after decades of living on the opposite coast to bury his father, where he
recognizes an unexpected opportunity to conquer his fear and claim a love that
was lost. Will he finally be bold enough to claim what should have been his
twenty-five years ago? Or will he once again retreat from his desires?

Annie and Evan Wilder, the perfect couple, travel to San
Diego to discover the true meaning of unselfish love and the missing piece to
their perfect life, only to be blessed with two miracles instead of just the
one they’d spent the past ten years praying for.

The heartwarming and inspirational stories you’ll follow in
“San Diego – love comes in many forms” will brighten your day as you laugh, cry
and celebrate love and family with these loveable and relatable characters that
AJ Harmon has brought to life.

About the Author

AJ Harmon was born and raised in Perth, Western Australia.
She currently resides in Oregon, USA, with her husband Brad. They have two
grown children, her pride and joy, and a dog named Max.

An avid reader of the Romance genre, the books in her
personal library range from historical to erotica and everything in between. “I
love reading a sweet romance set in the English Regency period where men were
gentlemen and the women pretended to be naïve. But sometimes you just need a
hot sexy romance to cap off a long week,” she smiled. The bookshelves in her
home are filled with a variety of authors and she is humbled to now be among
their ranks.

AJ is a new author, finding her passion in writing after her
children had left home, leaving her and her husband empty-nesters. She says the
‘First Class’ series has been a pleasure for her to write and has been
absolutely delightful that readers have received them with such a warm embrace.
“It will be hard to say goodbye to the
Lathems,” she said. “They have become a huge part of my life and I consider
them my family.” The series has nine volumes in total and AJ considers it to be
one of her greatest achievements. “This series has changed my life and the
readers have brought me more love and joy than I ever hoped for. My life is a
fairytale.”

AJ is excited to be working on her new contemporary romance
series, Sky Romance Novels, with the first book in the series coming in
February, 2014.

Goodbye Secrets by Jacquelyn Ayres

Goodbye Secrets by Jacquelyn Ayres

(Lost & Found Series Book 2 – this book is not a standalone)

What if your life wasn’t exactly as you thought it was? What if there were secrets you kept—from yourself?

Becca Campbell has no idea her world is about to be turned upside down when she and Grayson return to New Hampshire.

Pieces start flying into place, answering the questions of the puzzle she calls her life. Things finally add up— it all makes sense. All that was lost is now found.

But will she be able to move forward, knowing the truth?

I am a Domestic Engineer (born and raised in NJ) whose sole responsibility is to guide three young impressionable kids into becoming phenomenal adults. This challenging, yet rewarding work requires a lot of love (coffee), patience (wine) and determination (periodic exorcisms). I work all of this magic in the beautiful state of New Hampshire.

Before becoming a Domestic Goddess (not really), I spent over a decade working in the medical field where I wore more hats than the Queen.

I have had a love for the written word and the great escape it provides since I was a little girl. When I wasn't reading about people and the places they lived, I was creating my own characters and adventures. Finally, I have been putting a pen to paper allowing my characters to come to life. When I don't have a pen and paper in hand, you can often find me laughing at the conversations my characters are having in my head

EXCERPT - Limo
Sex:

“Tybee
Island. That’s what I was handling with Bane. I rented us a house on the beach
after we left the doctor’s office. You’ll be safe, Alli, I promise. Security is
already in place.”

The
last statement and somber tone in his voice has me instantly pulling back from
the window.

“Damien,
you are the only person I feel completely safe with while this maniac is out
there. I don’t worry about not being safe when I’m with you.”

He
sends a quick text, and then he grabs the nape of my neck and pulls me to him.
Whatever was missing is back in full force and then some as my body warms, and
he begins to penetrate all my senses. The familiar haze comes over me, and the
world completely begins to slide away.

I’m not
even waiting for foreplay as I wrench my shirt and bra off my body. Damien’s
warm mouth immediately encapsulates my breast, and I arch at the pleasure that
begins to radiate down to my core, igniting a burn down there.
I need
my husband shirtless now.
 I
go to the bottom of his thermal shirt and start to pull it up. He immediately
disengages from my body as he takes over, and he has it over his head and
discarded in about a quarter of the time it would have taken me. In one
movement, he’s picked me up and laid me out on the limo floor.

He goes
for my pants and pulls them from my body. “Fuck, Alli, you are beautiful.”

I try
to do a seductive smile, but then his finger slides down my cleft and dips into
my core. I arch off the limo floor. He undoes his pants enough to free himself,
and he is on top of me immediately.

“I
can’t wait. I need inside you now.”

I open
my legs up in invitation and whimper at the friction as he enters me.

“Oh,
Damien, please, yes. It’s been too long.”

she kept it to herself. One sentence developed into two, and before she knew
it, she had the makings of a novel.

About K.L. Ruse

I am a middle school teacher who recently traded in my chalk for a laptop to follow my dream of writing contemporary romance novels. I live with my husband and two daughters in the suburbs of Philadelphia.
When I'm not writing, I spend my time reading and relaxing with my family at my home-away-from-home, the Jersey shore.

After I graduated from Villanova University in 2003, I never imagined my path would lead me in this direction.  Writing was a hobby, an outlet for me to live in a world of happily ever after.  Now as I watch my dream become a reality, I believe that happy endings do exist.

Midsummer Sweetheart Review

Midsummer Sweetheart (Heart of Montana) Katy Regnery

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review

4 STARS!!!

This is the first book that I have read from Katy Regnery. I had not read the first book in the Montana series, but that did not cause any confusion or make me not enjoy this book. Midsummer Sweetheart can be read as a standalone, but I can’t wait to read more from this series and from Katy.

There is a lot of drama right away in the book with Katrin being threatened by her ex-fiancé. He has been harassing and stalking her so she and her family decide that she should leave town. They want her to leave town without anyone knowing. Erik Lindstorm drops her off in her in her new town when he is on his way to his new job. The moment they meet there are sparks. However, Katrin isn’t ready for a romance and Erik is strongly against having the happily ever after, however he just can’t stop checking in on Katrin or staying away from her.

The reader learns about Erik and Katrin as Midsummer Sweethearts progresses. You learn about why each feels the way they do. Katrin knows that she loves Erik pretty quickly, but has to wait until he is ready to admit to himself how he feels. Erik can be a jerk and tries to find every reason there is to why he feels the way he does other than it being love.

I liked that the story line was a little different from other books out at the moment. I loved that they relationship evolved and didn’t happen immediately. I hate when they both fall in love the second they meet. I normally like more conversation with characters, but this book worked well with reading what was going on in the characters heads. It helped you understand what was going on with the character better.

Katy did a wonderful job developing the characters and allowing the reader to understand them and able to connect with them. The only reason I didn’t give this book a 5 star is because I would have like a little more conversation between the characters and a little more drama, but other than that it was great. The passion between the characters was great. It isn’t over the top.

safety seems to lie in the hands of a man who has steeled himself against her
