ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

I’m a thirty-two-year-old self-proclaimed book nerd. Married to for nearly eleven years, my husband and I enjoy spending time with our two lovely children. Writing is a newly acquired fun hobby for me. In the past, I’ve enjoyed the role as a reader. However, recently, I learned that I absolutely love taking on the creative role as the writer. Something about determining how the story will play out intrigues me to no end. My husband claims that it’s because I like to control things—in a way, he’s right!

By day, I run around from appointment to appointment, wearing many hats including, mom, wife, part-time graphic designer, blogger, networker, social media stalker, student, business owner, and book boyfriend hunter. (It’s actually a thing—complete with pink camo. I lurk around the internet, “researching” pictures of hot guys who fit the profile of whatever book boyfriend I’m reading or writing about)

I guess you can blame my obsession with books on my lovely grandmother, who is quite possibly my favorite person on the planet. At an early age, she took me to the half-priced bookstore each weekend and allowed me to choose a book. Every single time, she caved when I begged for two. Without her encouragement, I wouldn’t have been able to cope during some hard times without my beloved books.

Currently, I am finishing up my college degree that has taken me forever to complete. It’s just on the list of my many “bucket-list” goals that I subject myself to.

Most days, you can find me firmly planted in front of my computer. It’s my life. If the world ever loses power, I’d be one of the first to die—of boredom! But I guess as long as I have books and a light, I might just survive.

Looking forward, you can expect to see two more novels in the Breaking the Rules Series. I’m nearly finished with the third. Also, I have a standalone novel that will be released soon as well.

This writing experience has been a blast, and I’ve met some really fabulous people along the way. I hope my readers enjoy reading my stories as much as I do writing them. I look forward to connecting with you all!

SYNOPSIS:

Broken by K. Webster is her debut novel and it is phenomenal! I absolutely loved it!! Broken is a fast read that is funny, sexy, and a hot read that will have you staying up late to finish the book in one sitting. This is definitely a one-click book. I can’t to read more from this series and from K. Webster!!

Andi is completely in love with her fiancé, Brayden, and her life seems perfect. That is until she walks in on him having sex with another woman. She is shattered and doesn’t think she can go on. Luckily, she has an amazing best friend, Pepper, who refuses to let her waste away and helps her get help. Now Andi is trying to pick up all the pieces of her heart and regain her life.
To protect her heart, Andi sets rules for her lovers…three nights only, no commitment and on Monday they go back to their own lives. This has helped her move on from Brayden and protect from being hurt again. That is until she meets Jackson. Their connection is immediate and they can’t get enough of each other, but can she break her rules or will she throw him on out when the weekend is over?

has his own painful past and he is excited by Andi and her set of rules. He is all for her game. Jackson is mysterious and can be hot and cold, but neither of them open up about their past…it is against the rules. Will they give into their hearts or will they stick to the rules?

I really enjoyed that Broken is written in the present time, but you get flash backs at the end of every chapter into Andi and Jackson’s past so you understand what they have been through and what makes them broken. I loved that Andi is not an innocent little angel and that she has problems and dealt with them in somewhat of a realistic manner. Maybe not everyone deals the way she did, but being heartbroken can cause anyone to do things that are out of the norm for them to try to deal with the pain. I felt like Andi was completely real and the reader could relate to her.

Jackson is all alpha male who screams sex on a stick! From the first moment you will fall for him and can’t wait to learn more about him and what secrets he has hidden.

K. Webster did a great job at not only having the reader connect to the main characters, but also secondary characters. I can’t wait to read more to learn more about them. I really enjoyed that I could sit down and read a story that made me laugh and smile for the characters. Congratulation to K. Webster on an amazing debut book!
